Vessl Prosthethics

At Vessl Prosthetics Inc., our mission is to make fulfilling lives more comfortable by empowering amputees and their champions to overcome obstacles and realize their full potential. Our first product, an automatically adjusting prosthetic socket, allows amputees to walk around all day comfortably. Poor socket fit is a leading problem in the prosthetics industry, characterized by a misfit between an amputee’s residual leg and their prosthetic socket. Just like wearing a pair of shoes that is a size too big, poor fitting prosthetic sockets can be painful and ultimately lead to blister formation. Blisters take a long time to heal and amputees cannot wear their prosthetic leg during that time, which is frustrating and debilitating. Thankfully, Vessl’s socket overcomes that challenge. Our socket automatically adjusts to changes in leg size, providing continuous comfort and allowing amputees to focus on what makes their lives more fulfilling.
