Innovation Factory Accessibility Statement

At Innovation Factory, we are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment for everyone. We strive to ensure that our facilities, services, information, communications, and employment practices are accessible to people of all abilities.
We are committed to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and to identifying, removing, and preventing barriers to accessibility.
Our Accessibility Policy, and Accessibility Compliance Report, are available upon request and can be provided in an accessible format.
Accessibility Policy
Innovation Factory is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities and treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.
Our Accessibility Policy outlines our approach to accessible customer service, employment and accommodation, information and communications, training, service animals and support persons, and other accessibility requirements.

Innovation Factory is committed to meeting its obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Visiting our Hamilton Location
Transportation
Location: 175 Longwood Rd S Suite B21, Hamilton, ON L8P 0A1
The Innovation Factory office in Hamilton is located in McMaster Innovation Park (MIP).
If you are choosing to use public transportation, Innovation Factory is very close to the following stops:
- If you are travelling east, stop 2955 is located in front of McMaster Innovation Park on the same side of the street.
- If you are travelling west, stop 2936 is directly across the street, via a pedestrian crossing.
If you are choosing to drive, there are accessible/handicap parking spaces available near the main entrance of McMaster Innovation Park, and one handicap spot in front of the Innovation Factory entrance.
MIP uses HONK for parking payments. There are QR codes in the parking lot, as well as at our front desk, that guests can scan to pay for parking.
Once you enter the Innovation Factory office, please proceed to the reception desk at the center of the office.

Washrooms
The washrooms are located past the reception desk, there are signs to assist you. The washrooms are accessible and gender-neutral and include handicap door openers and support rails. If further assistance is required, please do not hesitate to ask a staff member.
Support and Assistance
Our staff are happy to assist visitors with disabilities. If you need any accommodations or support during your visit, please let us know in advance or upon arrival. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Visiting our Halton Location
Transportation
Location: 5151 New St, Burlington, ON L7L 1V3
The Innovation Factory office in Halton is located in the TechPlace office within the Robert Bateman Community Centre.
If you are choosing to use public transportation, Innovation Factory is very close to the following stops:
- If you are travelling east, stop 424 is directly across the street via a pedestrian crossing at Adams Street.
- If you are travelling west, stop 431 arrives in front of the Robert Bateman Community Centre on the same side of the street.
If you are choosing to drive, there are accessible/handicap parking spaces available near the main entrance of the Robert Bateman Community Centre. Once you enter the TechPlace office, proceed to the reception desk.

Washrooms
The washrooms are located outside of the TechPlace office – please exit the main entrance of TechPlace and turn left. There are a number of individual washrooms located in two hallways and all gender-neutral with direct entry from the hallway.
