Reliq Health Technologies (Reliq) recently announced the go-live for their telemedicine and remote patient monitoring software with the Rio Grande Valley Health Alliance in McAllen, Texas, USA.
Reliq’s remote patient monitoring system quickly and easily collects comprehensive health data from patients in their own homes. The cloud-based, collaborative platform gives patients, family members, and caregivers access to pertinent health information. This helps the care team identify patients whose condition is becoming unstable and intervene early, before a serious complication develops requiring an ER visit or hospital admission. Patient engagement is also improved through timely updates on how care compliance and prescribed medication is affecting their health.
The first primary care patients have been enrolled with the goal of adding 500 new patients to the platform per month. At full deployment (in 2019) the project is expected to generate over $20 million USD in recurring annual revenue for Reliq.
Reliq’s telemedicine efforts are spearheaded by the powerful care coordination platform created by iUGO Health (iF client).
