Nix Sensor, a Hamilton-based startup focused on colour measurement technology, has recently released iOS application Chip on the Apple App Store.

Users can browse paint swatches, or pair a Nix sensor with their phone or tablet and use the app to find paint matches for colours scanned by the sensor. The app will also allow users to hire painters, or order paint and either have it delivered or schedule a curb-side pickup.

The app is available to download for free.
