iF welcomes Monika Yazdanian to The Forge!

We’re happy to welcome Monika Yazdanian to our team as the new Director of our Campus-Linked Accelerator, The Forge!

Prior to joining The Forge, Monika was a Program Director for a group of 40+ solar cell researchers in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Toronto, where she raised funds, promoted technology development, managed IP and commercialization strategies, and managed relationships with government, startups, and multi-national companies.

Before that, Monika worked at a startup company providing legal and regulatory assistance to companies in the junior mining sector, and taught the occasional physics course at the University of Guelph. She obtained her Ph.D. in Nanoscience from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Western University.

Monika is excited to be the new Director of The Forge and greatly looks forward to new adventures here! You can connect with her at [email protected].

We’d also like to take this chance to welcome our newest Forge clients: CareKit Health, GreenPlate, Hangry, Mathstronauts, and Virtual Possibilities!
