Session Title: Risk: The Four-Letter Word Women Must Embrace
Speaker: Sherry Shannon-Vastone, Founder, President & CEO of Profound Impact Corporation & Co-Founder of Women Founding Women (WFW)
Keynote Details: Too often, women are encouraged to be risk-averse—told to play it safe, follow the rules and wait for the “right” moment. But true leadership, innovation and impact come not from avoiding risk, but from understanding and embracing it. In this keynote, we will reframe risk as a necessary and powerful force for growth, exploring how women can move from fear to awareness, from hesitation to action. Through lessons learned by the speaker during her career journey along with some practical strategies and inspiring insights, we’ll challenge the narrative that risk is something to be feared and instead see it as a critical tool for success. It’s time to stop avoiding risk—and start using it to lead boldly.
A 10 minute Q&A has been allotted during this session from 9:50am – 10:00am
