As of April 1, 2024 Haltech and Innovation Factory have amalgamated to become one premier hub for start-ups and scaling companies in Ontario’s Hamilton-Halton region.
Our union is a reflection of years of collaboration, partnership, and a shared passion for innovation throughout the Hamilton and Halton regions. By combining diverse industries, executive expertise, and strategic initiatives, we’re establishing a new benchmark for economic growth and start-up and scale-up success.

Both brands will be integrated as one, Innovation Factory!
As an existing client of Haltech or Innovation Factory, you now can:
- Access ALL programs and services delivered by both Innovation Factory and Haltech
- Work at either TechPlace in Burlington or McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton
- As an existing client of Haltech, you will be matched with a Venture Growth Advisor, this will be your main point of contact at Innovation Factory. Having one point of contact will help to support you and your business goals more effectively.

Yes, Innovation Factory will have two locations.
- McMaster Innovation Park: B21-175 Longwood Rd. South, Hamilton, ON
- TechPlace: 801-5500 North Service Rd. Burlington, ON
Yes, as always, we’ll do our best to accommodate clients’ needs.
Yes. Staff from both organizations will all stay the same, working as one team at Innovation Factory.
