Mastering your Investor Pitch: How to Impress Like a Pro

Are you an entrepreneur preparing for a critical pitch to potential investors? “Mastering Your Investor Pitch” is designed to equip you with the skills and confidence you need to captivate investors and secure funding. Whether you’re seeking investment for a startup, a new project, or expansion, crafting an effective pitch is essential for impressing investors and increasing your chances of success.

This workshop is ideal for founders and startups with a prototype, beta, or minimum viable product (MVP) who are looking to refine their pitch and secure potential investors.

  • Part 1: September 12, 2024, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Part 2: September 19, 2024, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Attendance is required for both sessions as each session builds on the other.

Refundable Deposit Information

A refundable deposit of $25 is required to participate in this workshop. The deposit is fully refundable upon completion of the post-session survey within 5 days of the last session. If you are unable to attend, please provide at least 2 business days’ notice by emailing [email protected] to avoid losing your deposit.

What you’ll learn:

In this engaging two-part workshop, you will receive hands-on guidance and real-time feedback to help you craft and deliver a compelling investor pitch. The sessions are tailored to individuals with little or no experience in pitching, providing a supportive environment to develop your skills.

  1. Understanding Investor Expectations and Mindset: Learn how to align your pitch with the specific needs, preferences, and concerns of your investors. By understanding what investors are looking for, you can tailor your pitch to resonate more effectively and address their key decision-making criteria.
  2. Crafting a Compelling Pitch Deck: Discover how to create a pitch deck that tells a clear, concise, and engaging story about your business. You’ll learn the essential components that every winning pitch deck needs, and how to present your ideas with confidence and impact.
  3. Pitch Delivery Techniques: Gain practical tips and strategies to enhance your pitch delivery skills. This session will guide you through crafting a powerful 3-minute pitch, with opportunities to practice and receive real-time feedback, helping you pitch like a seasoned professional.
