Whether you’re seeking investment for a startup, a new project, or expansion, crafting an effective pitch is essential for impressing investors and increasing your chances of success.

This workshop is ideal for founders and startups with a prototype, beta, or minimum viable product (MVP) who are looking to refine their pitch and secure potential investors.

Attendance is required for both sessions as each session builds on the other.
Refundable Deposit Information
A refundable deposit of $25 is required to participate in this workshop. This deposit is fully refundable ONLY upon completion of the post-session survey following each session within 5 days of the last session. - Practice your 3-minute pitch: We will guide you through the process of crafting and delivering a compelling 3-minute pitch while receiving real-time feedback
- Essential Components of a Winning Pitch: Identify the key elements of your business model that investors need to see in your pitch deck.
- Pitch Delivery Techniques: Gain practical tips and strategies to boost your delivery skills, ensuring you pitch like a seasoned professional.
About our Facilitator
Chris Giantsopoulos, advisor, venture specialist, MaRS Discovery District
Chris is a venture specialist at MaRS and has taught thousands of entrepreneurs across Ontario and the east coast, in universities, colleges and regional innovation centres.
Earlier in his career, Chris was a leader at the BMO Institute for Learning, heading up several international training teams. His objective was to deliver multidisciplinary training solutions to thousands of employees in support of bank business strategies. Chris later co-founded and was CEO of QuickEnrollment Inc., a successful fintech online registration company targeted at amateur sports across Canada. Chris leverages his corporate and entrepreneurial expertise to help entrepreneurs realize their full potential.
