LiONS LAIR: Crafting a Pitch Training

The LiONS LAIR competition finalists will receive training on the components of crafting a pitch presentation and on questions that an investor wants answered.

Presenting Speakers

David Carter, is the Executive Director of Innovation Factory (iF). Prior to joining iF, David was CTO and Co-founder of Awareness Inc. His company raised 20 million in venture capital and worked with brands like New York Times, Major League Baseball, Sony Pictures and McDonalds. David will tell you his sweet spot is where technology, sales, and marketing intersect. He is quick to warn that technology alone does not ever solve the problem. During the 1990s, David worked for Microsoft and saw the arrival of graphical computing, smart phones, tablets and the Internet. He left Microsoft in 2001 to begin his first start-up.

This training session is only available to the LiONS LAIR Pitch Competition finalists.

LiONS LAIR – Innovation Factory’s Premier Pitch Competition

Celebrating its 14th anniversary, LiONS LAIR is an annual competition presented by Innovation Factory that brings the regional  entrepreneurship and innovation community together.

After a summer of training, the finalists are ready to compete. The finalists will deliver their pitch and field questions from our Investor LiONS.
