About us

EMN is a scale-up life sciences company that builds clinical nutrition products to help patients prepare better and recover faster from surgery. These products are powders reconstituted in water and consumed as a drink or via a feeding tube. EMN is currently market-active, selling innovative products in Canada and the U.S.

With a mission to improve outcomes through evidence-based nutrition, EMN has developed a seamless, targeted nutrition program for patients undergoing surgery. This program contains 2 medical food products backed by multiple clinical research trials to reduce muscle loss, improve wound healing, and support a better patient experience. The surgeon recommends that patients follow the program 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after their surgery. EMN’s initial market launch is in orthopaedic surgery (knee/hip/spine).
