BISEP creates accessories to assistive devices to improve the safety and efficiency, and quality of walking with assistive devices. Ambulation (Walking) and mobility training for the elderly & disabled populations is not frequent enough in Healthcare Facilities because of lack of funding/staff on hand. Our first device is the The patented & FDA/Health Canada approved A.R.M.M. ( Ambulation, Retraining and Mobility Mechanism) is a dynamic structure that attaches an individual’s wheelchair directly to their walker. This device provides lateral and posterior support to an individual who is transferring from a wheelchair to a walker while providing a safe support system for the patient when walking. The universal design can easily attach any wheelchair to any walker by the patient or therapist. Essentially the ARMM reduces the number of therapists or caregivers needed for transfer and ambulation training. The ARMM is sold directly to Healthcare facilities.
