Innovation Factory Accessibility Statement

Hamilton Location
Innovation Factory is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment that is accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to ensure our physical space supports the needs of all visitors, clients, and staff.
Transportation
Location: 175 Longwood Rd S Suite B21, Hamilton, ON L8P 0A1
The Innovation Factory office in Hamilton is located in McMaster Innovation Park (MIP).
If you are choosing to use public transportation, Innovation Factory is very close to the following stops:
- If you are arriving from Longwood Drive South, stop 2955 will be on the same side of outside McMaster Innovation Park.
- Stop 2936 is directly across the street from McMaster Innovation Park, via a pedestrian crossing.
If you are choosing to drive, there are accessible/handicap parking spaces available near the main entrance of McMaster Innovation Park, and one handicap spot in front of the Innovation Factory entrance. Once you enter the Innovation Factory office, proceed to the reception desk at the center of the office.

Washrooms
The washrooms are located past the reception desk, there are signs to assist you. The washrooms are accessible and gender-neutral and include handicap door openers and support rails. If further assistance is required, please do not hesitate to ask a staff member.
Support and Assistance
Our staff are happy to assist visitors with disabilities. If you need any accommodations or support during your visit, please let us know in advance or upon arrival. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Space Limitations
While we strive to ensure full accessibility, we are aware of the following limitations imposed through the property management company:
- No handicap door openers are available at the entrance of the office suite which may limit accessibility.
- No handicap door openers are available at the washroom doors which may limit accessibility, and washrooms are gendered: women’s and men’s.
- Desks/tables in work areas are at fixed heights.
Transportation
Location: 5500 North Service Road, Burlington, ON L7L 6W6 Canada, Office 801
The Innovation Factory office in Halton is located in TechPlace on the 8th floor of the Deloitte building. If you are choosing to use public transportation, TechPlace is very close to the following stops:
- If you are arriving from Burloak Drive, stop 1019 will be on the same side as the Deloitte building.
- If you are arriving from North Service Road stop 1020 will be directly across the street from the Deloitte building. There is no pedestrian crossing.
If you are choosing to drive, there are accessible/handicap parking spaces available near the front doors. There are multiple entrances to the building, we recommend using the entrance closest to the Deloitte sign on the building. Once you enter the building, there will be a set of elevators which can take you to the 8th floor. When you arrive on the 8th floor, the Innovation Factory/TechPlace office is directly to your right. Please check-in with the front desk.

Washrooms
The washrooms are located outside of the TechPlace office – please go past the elevators and turn right and the washrooms will be located on your right.
The washrooms are gendered and do not have handicap door openers. The washrooms include an accessibility stall. If you need any assistance, please ask a staff member to assist you in opening the door and we will be happy to help.
