How are we doing this? With AWAKE’s eco-friendly burial model, remains are planted in specialized green spaces and become part of the ecosystem in a matter of months. Our ashes-to-earth soil blend balances 22 biochemical factors of cremated remains, making them bioavailable to plants and microorganisms while giving families beautiful memorial gardens that leave a legacy of life.
Since launching their memorial gardens in 2023, AWAKE has gained traction with private and municipal cemeteries across Ontario including City of Hamilton and City of Niagara Falls. With support from idea Fund they are excited to expand their reach into Ottawa region and Western Canada.
