The Canadian Entrepreneurs in Life Science is a California-based accelerator supporting Canadian life science companies in entering the U.S. market.

The Canadian Entrepreneurs in Life Science (CELS) is a California-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Canadian life science companies – supporting commercialization,  scaling, and raising capital in the U.S.

Some of the programs and services offered by CELS include: 

  • Valley Ready (VR) Accelerator / Landing Pad: A premier 3-month hybrid program helping Canadian life science companies prepare for the U.S. market through mentorship, workshops, and networking.
  • Canada in the Valley Showcase: An annual marquee investor event in Silicon Valley that brings together California / U.S. investors and qualified Canadian life science companies (i.e. VR alumni companies).
  • Events and Networking: Bringing together a growing community of VR program alumni, U.S. investors and life science professionals through regular events that foster learning, collaboration, and the showcasing of innovations.

CELS connects start-ups with a vibrant professional community providing the essential support for success in the U.S.

The Synapse Life Science Competition combines the ideas and research of life science innovators with the intellect and strategy of students. Finalists receive training, mentorship, a $2,000 grant and a chance to pitch and compete for BIG cash prizes!
