12-Week Intensive Program for Startups
Innovation Factory will be hosting a 12-week intensive workshop on building your business, starting Feb 7, 2014.
This is a great opportunity for highly motivated entrepreneurs to take their startup to the next level.
Get tools, mentoring and peer feedback to help as you roll up your sleeves and develop strategic components for your business. Dig into how to build your company, cultivate relationships with your customers, and ultimately make sales.
Workshops will include:
Launching Customer Development – Combine principles of customer development with market intelligence techniques to test key assumptions and lower your venture’s risk.
Learn ways to analyze market feedback to determine your target customers and validate customer problems, as well as to prepare test solutions and business models.
Business Strategy Fundamentals – Learn how to use the tools necessary to identify viable target customers and explore the value offering of your venture.
Use your value proposition to test your business model for sustainability and growth.
The MarCom Toolkit – Explore the importance of a cohesive MarCom strategy by identifying key opinion leaders in your field and how to contact them.
Evaluate and prioritize the different media channels and messages that resonate with your target customer(s).
Identify the language you will use to explain your business to potential customers and the media.
The B2B Sales Process – Practice managing individual sales opportunities to turn leads into prospects, and prospects into closed transactions.
Define the stages of the sales cycle for your customers and map out your sales pipeline.
Cost of workshops – While the program is valued at $6,720 per company, The Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE) covers the program fee for its clients. Innovation Factory clients automatically benefit from iF’s membership in ONE and are excluded from paying these fees.
Although the workshops are free of charge for ONE clients, a $350 refundable deposit will be held at registration. This deposit is fully refunded to ONE clients upon completion of all sessions in the series.
