In the heart of Burlington, Ontario, innovation is brewing, and the entrepreneurial spirit is thriving. We’re thrilled to announce the finalists for our much-anticipated 7th annual Hi5 Pitch Competition, where five high-potential startups are set to take the stage, with a chance to win a grand prize of $5,000. This event not only provides a platform for high-potential clients to showcase their groundbreaking ideas but also offers attendees the unique opportunity to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award.

The Hi5 Pitch Competition is a quintessential display of innovation in action. Each of the five high-potential clients is given precisely 5 minutes to pitch their vision, product, or service to a panel of five hand-selected judges.

But the competition isn’t just about the cash prize; it’s about fostering awareness, skill-building, and industry exposure for the most promising startups in the region. The journey to the Burlington Convention Centre promises to be a night filled with inspiration, innovation, and networking with industry leaders.

Without further ado, let’s meet the five finalists who will be competing for the top spot at this year’s Hi5 Pitch Competition:

  1. Catapult Design Studios: Catapult strives to create the most realistic and user friendly augmented reality and virtual reality training tools for fire training for firefighters, officers and the public, as well as tools to use in CBT for burn trauma victims.
  2. EarthOne: Never over water or under water your plants again. EarthOne’s soil moisture sensor reliably and accurately provides moisture readings over time.
  3. Flair 3D: Flair 3D is a cloud-based tool for construction and real estate industry: designers, builders, owners, operators and facility managers as well as O&M application developers and IoT companies.
  4.
