Mobile Robots in Public Spaces
Join an interactive panel discussion based on Urban Robotics Foundation (URF) Executive Guide to public-area mobile robots (PMRs), sponsored by the Centre for Integrated Transportation and Mobility (CITM).
Explore the challenges and opportunities of deploying mobile robots in public spaces, from service provision within facilities to outdoor delivery tasks. Plus, discover the diverse applications of PMRs among pedestrians, pets and bystanders.
Navigating opportunities with Mobile Robots: What to expect
- Gain insights into the definition and current market landscape of PMRs, and explore the implications of timing decisions in PMR adoption.
- Investigate the implications of delaying or advancing PMR testing and deployment decisions.
- Learn how to access and apply deployment standards to ensure informed decision-making and effective PMR integration.
- From sidewalk navigation to interaction with pedestrians, explore future trends shaping the PMR landscape.

About the Urban Robotics Foundation (URF)
The Urban Robotics Foundation (URF) was founded in 2021 as a global, membership-funded, non-profit organization that is bringing together stakeholders interested in public-area mobile robots (PMRs). Our goal is to help ensure that stakeholders understand the opportunities and challenges of PMRs and to build a global network of people focused on learning how PMRs can contribute to improved livability in urban ecosystems.
