It’s been great spending Global Entrepreneurship Week with our innovative ecosystem! We were pleased to host our ELEV8 Pitch Competition on November 15 as a celebration of entrepreneurship and startups in Hamilton. Congratulations to our winners: NeuralSeg won second place and $250 while Helix Brass won first place and $750. Our new $150 People’s Choice prize was awarded to Storelax.
It was an amazing night of building connections and celebrating promising new companies. Our judges carefully evaluated each pitch, giving the companies friendly and sound business advice. Thank you to our judges for volunteering their time and expertise: Elly Bowen of HE Bowen Consulting, Blake Laufer of Angel One, and Alex Ross of Gowling WLG.
