“Peter Basl and Noha Abdelaziz love food, and they love gathering with friends and family around great meals at local restaurants.
However, the challenge they often encounter when choosing venues for dinner is sourcing reviews written for specific foods. How could they easily find who makes the best version of what they crave?
‘We discovered that there’s no easy way of finding the food you are craving through existing online reviews,’ explains Basl. ‘We thought, ‘Why not have an app that helps us find the best dishes around us, not just the best general restaurants?’ When we started investigating the concept, we realized (this was) a gap in the industry that we could fill.'”
