Apps help children with autism improve learning and communication skills

“One out of 88 children age 8 will have an autism spectrum disorder, with males four times more likely than females to have ASD, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Sarah Kupferschmidt and Nancy Defina-Marchese want to help those children. The co-founders of mobile health startup Special Appucations (specialappucations.com or @SpecialAppu) are passionate about providing accessible educational tools to children with autism.”
