The Innovation Factory 2024–2025 report highlights growth, investment, and jobs across Ontario’s innovation ecosystem.
HAMILTON & HALTON, ON – September 18, 2025 – Innovation Factory, the not-for-profit business accelerator for the Brant, Halton, Hamilton, and Norfolk regions, has released its inaugural Annual Impact Report, capturing both the organization’s 2024–2025 results and its broader 15-year journey supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. This publication reflects the measurable outcomes of Innovation Factory’s programs and partnerships, while also highlighting the growth of Ontario’s innovation ecosystem since the organization’s founding in 2010.
The fiscal outlook highlights the support, programs and resources Innovation Factory provided to more than 950 companies, helping them attract $220M+ in investment, generate $468M+ in revenues, and create 3,000+ new jobs. The report also showcases Innovation Factory’s evolution from a regional accelerator to a national ecosystem builder, with specialized initiatives including the Synapse Life Science Consortium, the Centre for Integrated Transportation and Mobility (CITM), and Femtech Canada. Together, these ecosystems amplify commercialization opportunities, connect companies with partners and investors, and position the region as a leader in health, mobility, and inclusive innovation.
