great ideas can start anywhere, even on the back of a napkin

New IF Napkin Print - Walkie Talkie

Have you ever wondered where some of the best-known inventions got their start? Maybe how the first cell phone came to be, or what the thought process was behind the first 3D printer?

In chatting with some of our clients, we realized that the stories behind their innovations were as interesting as they were varied, and that sometimes ideas for great businesses start in the most unexpected ways.

So, we’re launching the #InnovateWithiF campaign to challenge Hamiltonians to think more innovatively. We’re sharing early sketches to show how some of our clients’ ideas got their start, along with video stories showcasing how some of Hamilton’s thriving businesses took off.

But most of all, we want to see YOUR ideas! We have a number of supportive local restaurants and cafes that are carrying iF branded napkins in their establishments – because great ideas can start anywhere, even on the back of a napkin. They have fun brain teasers on them, but also space to sketch out an innovative idea, snap a photo and share it to social media.

You can also check out the napkin brain teasers online here and share your answers via Twitter or Facebook. Whether you’re engaging in person or online, make sure to use the #InnovateWithiF hashtag – we’re drawing for two weekly prizes until February 26th, and the more you use the hashtag, the more chances you’ll have to win!
