Unlocking Government Incentives: SR&ED and Grants with Deloitte Introduction

Navigating government funding, research tax credits, and grant opportunities can often feel complex and overwhelming for growing companies. Between scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) claims and discretionary incentives, knowing where to start and how to maximize your return is critical to extending your runway.

Join incentive experts from Deloitte for an interactive lunch-and-learn session designed to explain the SR&ED and grant landscape. Discover practical strategies to access non-dilutive government funding, reduce overall project costs, and accelerate the growth of your business.

What you’ll learn

  • Access government funding: Understand how to navigate the Canadian funding landscape, including tax credits and discretionary incentives.
  • Optimize SR&ED claims: Learn best practices to identify eligible R&D activities and maximize your returns.
  • Reduce project costs: Identify funding streams that lower financial risk and support capital investments, market expansion, and talent development.
  • Leverage the full incentive lifecycle: Gain insights into managing incentives effectively from application through to execution.

Securing capital without giving up equity is essential for scaling startups and growing businesses. By understanding how to properly access government tax credits and grants, founders can reinvest key savings directly back into research, talent, and expansion. This workshop connects entrepreneurs with leading industry experts to ensure local businesses leverage every available resource within the innovation ecosystem.

This session is tailored for leaders looking to optimize their business growth strategies, including:

  • Startup founders and business leaders seeking non-dilutive funding.
