Meet the speaker

Selina Bains, Program Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships & Growth at Innovation Factory

Selina Bains joined Innovation Factory in 2024, supporting programming and partnerships across the organization. She holds a degree from McMaster University and recently completed her Master of Management of Innovation from the University of Toronto. Selina maintains a strong interest in healthcare startups and technologies, and is passionate about community, having volunteered extensively to support individuals living with chronic conditions. At Innovation Factory, she works closely with the legal and IP partner network and helps coordinate IP Assist, connecting founders with the expertise they need to protect their innovations.
