2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce. Supplier Diversity 101: Breaking down supply chain access barriers for diverse founders March 22, 2024 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Eastern Standard

Inclusivity Business Resource Series: 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce

Diverse entrepreneurs in Canada face significant barriers to success, even in 2024. While things have moved in the right direction, challenges continue to persist. Historic discrimination against 2SLGBTQI+ individuals is not something of the past, nor does it exist in silos from other axes of oppression and marginalization – the hurdles that many founders from diverse lived experiences face today are a result of ongoing systemic and structural inequalities.

This session is designed for all professionals and business owners. During this session, we will deep dive into Supplier Diversity from a 2SLGBTQI+ lens, and explore how representatives from major corporations and allied small businesses owners can get involved.

Join us to hear about:

  • A working knowledge of Supplier Diversity
  • How businesses can get certified
  • Who can become certified
  • How to start the conversations around supplier diversity within your own organization
