B2B founders typically struggle to win their first customer accounts due to complicated enterprise sales cycles, unclear business models, and limited sales experience. In this workshop, learn how to simplify the early-stage enterprise sales process to secure your first enterprise customer meetings and design successful customer engagements that convert to long-term, high-margin contracts and other customer referrals.

Led by Nick Ellis, Startup Business Development Manager, Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Nick’s a serial founder (1 exit, 1 distressed sale, 3 fails) who currently works for Amazon Web Services (AWS) advising leading Silicon Valley startups on everything from sales to hiring and beyond. Prior to joining AWS, Nick consulted to CEOs in the maritime, technology, and staffing industries. He previously served as VP of Innovation at TrueBlue, a NYSE-listed staffing firm, where he reported to the CEO and Board of Directors as revenue grew from $1.3BN in 2011 to $2.2BN/yr in 2014. Nick began his career as an investment banker advising California officials on the issuance of over $400 million in municipal bonds. When he’s not on his laptop or phone, Nick enjoys cocktails with his wife, roughhousing with his twins, swimming, and sunset bicycle cruises around his home of Alameda, CA.
