Securing Capital – A Best Fit Approach with Easly
June 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Accessing capital is one of the most prevalent issues facing all companies but which source(s) are right for you?
When securing capital, entrepreneurs should be looking to strike the optimal balance between all sources of capital in a way that best suits the company’s needs at any given time.
We call this optimizing your capital stack:
– What are the typical sources of capital?
– What are the pros and cons of each?
– How do you determine the right fit for your company?
This session will be presented by Julie Cassandra and Alastair Nimmons of Easly with support from the Capital Angel Network.
Easly provides funding that suits the needs of Canada’s innovative companies – simple, predictable, non-dilutive capital, delivered on an ongoing basis – using Government Grants and SR&ED refunds as collateral.
Julie Cassandra is Easly’s Account Executive based in Ottawa and has been actively involved with CAN since 2020. She has helped companies connect with partners and solutions for over 15 years. Alastair Nimmons is VP, Business Development for Easly. In a business career spanning a variety of industries, Alastair has been a big four partner, start-up CFO, and government advisor.
