About this event

Startups can have a great product or service, but it’s hard to make the first sale. While they may have created a great product it can be hard to move their prospects through the sales funnel and close the deal.

Randy Hendriks, a sales expert from our ecosystem, will cover some great tips, tricks and processes to get you started. He will focus on the tools, resources and approaches needed to make early sales for your B2B service or product, including:

  • Understanding the Buyer Journey
  • Knowing Your Best Vertical
  • Preparing Your Sales Collateral
  • Identifying and Connecting with Warm Contacts
  • Proposing Pilot Projects

This session will be especially applicable to startups trying to etablish early sales, and growing companies interested in solidifying their sales processes.

Randy has held a variety of sales leadership roles with startups and growing companies around the GTA. Having also worked in the non-profit sector, Randy knows the power and impact of identifying opportunities and making sure there’s a win in it for everyone. His education ranges from a diploma in engineering to a doctoral thesis on community leadership.
