In order to be successful in business, leadership styles and personalities need to be very different in the environment of early stage companies compared to large, mature ones.
Building teams for any operation, but particularly for innovation, requires an understanding of the dynamics of the teambuilding process as well as the characteristics of different team member types and most important the leadership style required for each of the stages of the team’s evolution.
The leadership style has a direct effect not only on employee and ultimately, corporate performance, but also affect longer term metrics such as talent acquisition along with retention and corporate growth.
