Mitacs connects industry and post-secondary institutions, and has expanded their efforts to support Canadian businesses tackling COVID-19 challenges by boosting funding and fast-tracking proposals, expanding internship offerings, and bolstering postdoc fellowships to support research and innovative solutions.
In this webcast, Katie Facecchia will provide an overview of the Mitacs Accelerate Program, and answer your questions how to apply for funding and support for your COVID-19 projects.
Katie Facecchia is a Director, Business Development for Mitacs. Mitacs is a national, independent not-for-profit organization that funds collaborative research projects between academia and industry/not-for-profits. Katie has graduate degree in Biochemistry and has been with Mitacs for the past five years, where she has helped connect companies and academic partners all across Canada.
