EDIT: Expo for Design, Innovation & Technology
September 28 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm$15 - $39
Inspired by the United Nations Development Programme’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, EDIT will celebrate the people and projects transforming through a series of talks, workshops, and experiences. We’re rethinking the world of healthcare, cooking up brilliant solutions to food waste, exploring the next generation of sustainable housing, and so much more. Not to mention, we’re debuting four original exhibitions from Bruce Mau, Carlo Ratti, Kentaro Toyama and Julielynn Wong.
Change the world by design. EDIT is an 150,000-square-foot immersive experience that envisions a world where everyone can prosper through design, innovation and technology. Produced by Design Exchange, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, this groundbreaking inaugural festival will examine the theme of “Prosperity For All” through an array of curated pavilions, talks, and installations. Bringing life back to the abandoned Unilever Detergent factory in Toronto’s Port Lands, EDIT will challenge visitors to consider how we can make the world a better place. Together.
This conference runs from September 28 through to October 8, 2017.
