E2E COVID-19 Survival Toolkit: Insights on Seed Fundraising

May 19 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join GroundBreak Ventures and Local Logic in a discussion on VC funding and raising capital during/post COVID.

What matters most when capital is scarce?

Recessions are notorious for sparking the growth of innovation and entrepreneurship, but raising seed capital is difficult in the best of times. According to a recent report published by the Startup Genome, the past two recessions saw a drop in global VC investments- approximately 25% over 12 months- which is equivalent to a decline of $86.4 billion in funding.

In RIC Centre’s Experts to Entrepreneurs speaker series we’ll connect you with seasoned business professionals who have tried and true models for success, as well as experienced founders who have been in your position not so long ago.

This session will look at:

• What GroundBreak Ventures is doing and seeing in the current market

• Raising capital post COVID-19

• How to differentiate yourself when capital is scarce

• An entrepreneur’s perspective on fundraising during COVID-19
