Building Better Broadband for Advanced Applications with Clearcable Networks
June 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Smart infrastructure and sensor networks require connectivity that comes in various forms of wired and wireless technologies. Regardless of the technology, more things need to connect more reliably in more places and a comprehensive plan for connected infrastructure must consider how the network meets the built environment.
This session looks at different types of network technologies and how they may fit or not fit in a strategy for building better broadband for advanced applications.
This discussion will be of interest to anyone who needs to connect smart infrastructure to a municipal scale network which may include but not be limited to municipal staff working on broadband, application providers needing to build sensor networks, or service providers working to deliver connectivity to Smart City applications.
During this session, you get a better understanding of:
What technologies are being used today.
What deployment models are available to municipalities and service providers.
How does it connect together.
