Using micropipettes for measuring liquids is the backbone of all wetlab work. Every cancer breakthrough, every emergent virus catalogued, every new antibiotic discovered was accomplished by a person using a micropipette. They are so ubiquitious you’ve probably seen them on TV and movies during forensic DNA fingerprinting scenes.

We have invented a new sensor that measures microlitres of volume with up to 50x more precision than the leading brand. Our sensor measures the volume in real-time, something current devices cannot do. Current micropipettes have more and more error with use, whereas our sensor is auto-calibrating, meaning that the device always operates at peak performance.
