Powered by digital microfluidics, our technology is designed for high-stakes settings such as emergency medicine and military care, where fast and reliable results are critical. Our first application is a portable blood group typing system that delivers lab-quality results in minutes using low-cost, disposable cartridges. Blue Ocean’s vision is to accelerate critical testing, reduce the burden on centralized healthcare infrastructure, and bring life-saving diagnostics closer to the patient.
