Our November Lunch ‘n Learn took place on November 25, with Mark Elliott of Venture Accelerator Partners leading an informative discussion on building a social sales strategy.
Mark began the Lunch ‘n Learn by going over the various social media platforms available today, and which he would recommend for different types of businesses and uses. LinkedIn was pointed out as being great for professionals and businesses, Twitter for the general public, Facebook for consumers, Pinterest and Instagram for lifestyle and visual content, Foursquare and Yelp for restaurants, and Vimeo and YouTube for short videos.
He then discussed tools like Hootsuite for helping make social media manageable, and most importantly how to use content marketing and social media engagement to develop sales leads.
Michael Gibson of iFly Productions, one of iF’s clients, also shared a 5-minute highlight of his business.
