For many people, January is a time for change, for starting over.

That’s why this month, Hamilton Business decided to focus on career change.

We spoke to 10 people who decided to relaunch their careers — either by choice, by chance, or because they were forced to make a change.


From medicine to mobile apps

Michael Pazaratz and Saeed Darvish-Kazem

Age: 29 and 28

Former jobs

Both studied health sciences and medicine at McMaster University. Pazaratz was completing his residency in nuclear medicine in London.

Darvish-Kazem finished his internal medicine residency at McMaster and started his cardiology fellowship.

Current jobs
