The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce & Innovation Factory have come together to present LiON’S LAIR - a celebration of entrepreneurship. LiON’S LAIR gives Hamiltonians with the opportunity to experience the thrill of starting a start-up. Aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators face a panel of Hamilton’s top business executives to compete for up to $100,000 in cash and inkind prizes to get their companies off the ground. Innovation Factory invites you to Café iF, a new weekly drop-in forum for Hamilton's innovators, entrepreneurs, and small companies to discuss topics related to business development.

Innovation Factory hosts these casual drop-in sessions at McMaster Innovation Park. Interested participants are invited to come out, enjoy a cup of coffee, and share in lively peer-to-peer discussions facilitated by a knowledgeable professional with experience in the topic of the week.

This week: Making ‘Cents’ of Accounting

Beyond just taxes and payroll, Don Forbes of Grant Thornton will facilitate an active Q & A about the wide range of things an accounting firm actually does to benefit growing businesses.
