The Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade is pleased to partner with Munera P.C. to discuss key developments in government programs and the law that are crucial considerations for employers as Ontario returns to work.

This webinar will provide an overview of the various government initiatives facilitating the re-hiring of laid off or furloughed employees and the safety measures employers must implement before employees can return to the workplace.

We will also discuss important considerations with respect to key pieces of employment legislation in light of the COVID-19 pandemic— namely, the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Employment Standards Act, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.

In addition, Alexander is a natural entrepreneur who has founded various corporations in the hospitality, real estate and professional service arenas, which have proved to be successful business ventures to date. His entrepreneurial trait has allowed him to understand his clients’ businesses thoroughly and offer personalized legal advice that addresses basic and critical needs for entrepreneurs and businesses overall when exploring their own ventures. JD degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and MBA and MEng from McGill University.

Fatma Uyuklu, Associate Lawyer @MUNERA

Fatma is licensed to practice law in Ontario. Fatma has represented clients in employment matters including corporate immigration, negotiation of employment, service and consulting agreements. Fatma has also represented clients in litigation matters involving employment and consulting agreements and disputes. Additionally, Fatma practices civil litigation in the areas of commercial and contract disputes, real estate disputes, and estates litigation. Fatma has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and various Tribunals in Ontario. Fatma completed her JD degree at the University of Ottawa, and her Honours BA in Law and Society at York University, where she graduated with distinction.
